Report: Netanyahu Seeks Maduro Ouster to Expand Israeli Influence

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a report by the Palestine Chronicle examines the reasons behind Israel‘s support for a potential U.S. military intervention in Venezuela aimed at regime change. The report suggests that Tel Aviv is willing to risk American military lives to achieve its goals.
Pro-Israel research centers in the United States continue to publish articles advocating for the exploitation of Venezuelan oil reserves. The insistence of these think tanks on a U.S. attack against Venezuela is not solely related to the connections between Venezuelan opposition figures and Israeli interests. Such actions align with Tel Aviv’s desire to extend its influence beyond the Middle East, the report claims.
The report draws parallels to the lead-up to the Iraq War, noting that Israel was a prominent supporter of the U.S. invasion but did not participate militarily. Analysts who support Trump administration policies are reportedly eager to exploit Venezuelan oil resources, similar to what occurred in Iraq.
Describing the Venezuelan government as a “terrorist” regime is part of a strategy to pave the way for an attack, similar to the situation in Iraq, the report suggests. Venezuela faces accusations related to the fentanyl crisis in the U.S. Supporters of Israel have gone so far as to claim that the Maduro regime is allied with Hezbollah and Hamas, alleging plans for attacks against U.S. soil.
Venezuelan opposition figure Maria Machado recently claimed in Oslo that Hezbollah and Hamas operatives are operating freely in Venezuela. These statements, along with her declared allegiance to Israel, are deemed by the report as not coincidental.
Moreover, the report asserts that Israel has turned its attention to Latin America after the failure of U.S. efforts to bring more Arab and Islamic nations into normalization agreements. Movements in Latin America have historically supported the Palestinian cause, making the overthrow of the Venezuelan government significant for Tel Aviv.
