UN General Assembly Reaffirms Palestinian Right to Self-Determination

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the UN General Assembly adopted a draft resolution supporting the Palestinian people with a decisive vote of 164 in favor.
The resolution, which supports the rights of the Palestinian people, saw opposition from eight countries: the Zionist occupiers, the United States, Micronesia, Argentina, Paraguay, Papua New Guinea, Palau, and Nauru. Nine countries, including Ecuador, Togo, Tonga, Panama, Fiji, Cameroon, the Marshall Islands, Samoa, and South Sudan, abstained from voting.
The approved resolution recognizes the right of the Palestinian people to self-determination, including the right to have an independent Palestinian state.
The resolution was passed under the title “The right of peoples to self-determination.”
