France Rejects Any Annexation of the West Bank, Advocates for Two-State Solution

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, France‘s representative addressed the United Nations Security Council in a session regarding Palestine on Tuesday, asserting the necessity of a ceasefire in Gaza adhered to by all involved parties, along with the unobstructed delivery of humanitarian aid.
The representative from Paris urged Israel to protect Palestinian civilians and hold accountable those responsible for violence in the West Bank. “We oppose any annexation of the West Bank,” the representative declared, advocating for the facilitation of a two-state solution rather than obstructing its progress.
Furthermore, the representative condemned the seizure of premises belonging to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) in East Jerusalem (al-Quds), emphasizing that such actions violate the sanctity of UN facilities and buildings.
