UK Advises Citizens Against Travel to Parts of Lebanon Amid Rising Instability

The UK Foreign Office has updated its travel advisory, urging British nationals to avoid travel to large sections of Lebanon due to the unstable security situation resulting from ongoing attacks.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the updated advisory from the UK Foreign Office specifically advises against travel to areas in Beirut, its southern suburbs, southern Lebanon up to the Litani River, Nabatieh province, large parts of the Bekaa Valley, the Baalbek-Hermel region, areas in northern Lebanon and Akkar province, Palestinian refugee camps, and certain areas near the Syrian border.

The British government has emphasized that these no-go zones are clearly outlined in the official UK travel guide map.

The advisory cites the volatile situation in Lebanon, which stems from ongoing attacks and actions by the Zionist regime in violation of the ceasefire.
