Lukashenko: Trump Alone Cannot Resolve Ukraine Crisis

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Alexander Lukashenko, in an interview with Newsmax TV, asserted that while every war eventually ends in peace, the Ukraine conflict is no different and should conclude as quickly as possible to minimize casualties.
Lukashenko highlighted the necessity of a multifaceted approach to resolving the Ukrainian crisis, saying that current U.S. President Donald Trump cannot resolve this alone.
The Belarusian President criticized European politicians for their alleged hypocrisy, claiming that during the Minsk peace talks in 2015, some European leaders were merely seeking opportunities to arm Ukraine, and were not truly interested in peace, but rather in laying the groundwork for a future war.
Lukashenko added that Russia seeks a peace treaty that guarantees the conflict will not reignite.
He further warned that certain European nations are encouraging Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to continue fighting, while lacking the capacity to provide adequate support.
Lukashenko concluded that if the United States were to withdraw from the conflict, escalation would be unavoidable, leading current leaders in France, Germany, and the UK to recognize their error in inciting Ukraine to prolong the war.
