Israeli Airstrikes in Lebanon Kill One, Wound Five Civilians

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Lebanese Ministry of Health reported one citizen was killed and five others were wounded in new attacks by the Israeli army.
The ministry stated that an Israeli drone strike targeted a vehicle on the Adisseh-Markaba road in southern Lebanon, resulting in one fatality. Subsequently, an Israeli airstrike hit a pickup truck in the Sippelin area of the Kharroub region, killing another person and injuring five others.
Lebanese sources reported that Israeli forces advanced into the town of Al-Dhahira in southern Lebanon, penetrating 750 meters into the Blue Line and placing boxes containing explosives near a house.
The Lebanese army reportedly detonated the Israeli explosive devices in a controlled manner to prevent civilian casualties.
Lebanese media also reported Israeli artillery shelling of several areas in southern Lebanon, including the town of Marwahin.
The continued and expanded attacks on Lebanon occur as the Lebanese government, under pressure from the United States, discusses disarming the resistance and relies on empty promises from Washington. The U.S. is a guarantor of the ceasefire agreement between Lebanon and Israel, and these Israeli violations against Lebanon cannot take place without the support and approval of Washington.
