ISIS has announced its impending resurgence in Syria, causing widespread alarm in Idlib and its surroundings. The terror group’s reappearance coincides with ongoing instability under the current regime.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, messages attributed to ISIS have surfaced in Idlib, Syria, and adjacent areas, declaring the group’s intention to resume operations. The appearance of these writings has instilled fear among residents, who are already facing insecurity due to the regime’s inability to stabilize the region since its rise to power.
