UAE Reportedly Signs $2.3 Billion Arms Deal with Israeli Firm

A French media outlet reports that the United Arab Emirates has inked a $2.3 billion arms deal with Israeli company Elbit Systems, marking the largest contract in the Israeli firm’s history.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a French media outlet has revealed a significant arms deal between the United Arab Emirates and an Israeli company. The deal, valued at $2.3 billion, reportedly involves the purchase of advanced air defense systems.

The French website Intelligence Online reported that the UAE has signed an arms agreement worth $2.3 billion with an Israeli company. This transaction marks the largest deal in the history of the Israeli firm Elbit Systems.

Intelligence Online stated that last month, the military company Elbit Systems announced its largest deal for selling systems manufactured by the company but refrained from disclosing the identity of its client.

Intelligence Online revealed that the deal was made with the United Arab Emirates, though the reason for concealing the buyer’s identity remains unclear.

The report indicates that the UAE is acquiring an advanced version of the J-Music air defense system from Elbit Systems. This system utilizes lasers to neutralize sensors of surface-to-air missiles fired at aircraft.
