Zelensky Seeks Access to Frozen Russian Assets

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has advocated for utilizing frozen Russian assets to aid Ukraine, emphasizing the need for reparations.
Zelensky stated that while a compensation loan is the ideal method for using seized Russian funds, Ukraine is open to alternative solutions. He also identified the United States as the nation best positioned to halt the conflict, while stressing Ukraine’s desire for a more robust strategy to deter Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The Ukrainian leader accused Putin of not wanting to end the war, adding that he hopes Donald Trump’s efforts are successful. He further argued that it is only fair for Ukraine to use the frozen Russian assets, given that Russia attacked Ukraine and destroyed its infrastructure.
