Hezbollah Condemns Quran Desecration by US Congressional Candidate

Hezbollah called upon the Arab and Islamic world, religious and cultural institutions, and followers of all divine religions to launch the broadest condemnation campaign against this criminal and malicious act and to take a decisive and clear stance rejecting this action, as such vile acts fuel hatred and undermine all efforts to strengthen understanding and peace among nations.
Several days prior, a candidate in the upcoming U.S. congressional elections desecrated the Quran by burning it in an attempt to attract attention from far-right groups in the country.
While burning the Muslim holy book, the candidate promised to end the presence of Islam in Texas if elected to Congress.
