France and UK Condemn Israeli Occupation of Syrian Territory

France and the United Kingdom have voiced strong criticism of the Israeli regime’s occupation of Syrian territory, calling for an end to the violations and respect for Syrian sovereignty. The concerns were raised at the United Nations, highlighting growing international pressure on Israel regarding its presence in Syria.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, France and the United Kingdom have condemned the Israeli regime’s occupation of Syrian territory.

Jerome Bonnafont, the French representative to the United Nations, stated that the Israeli regime must respect Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, and cease its aggressions against the country. He emphasized that Israel should withdraw from Syrian lands it has occupied since December 2024.

Echoing these concerns, the Deputy Representative of the United Kingdom to the United Nations warned that the Israeli regime’s attacks on Syria threaten to further destabilize the country. The UK representative called on the Israeli regime to respect Syria’s territorial integrity.
