Israeli Official Claims Prevention of Iranian Presence on Northern Borders

An Israeli official at the United Nations has stated that Israel will defend its northern borders and prevent any establishment of Iran or affiliated groups in the region. The official also called for a demilitarized zone extending from Damascus to the current buffer zone.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, an Israeli representative to the United Nations asserted that Israel would defend its northern borders and prevent the presence of terrorists and armed groups near its territory.

The official added that Israel would act to defend its Druze allies and prevent attacks from neighboring areas.

The Israeli official further claimed that the regime would not allow Iran, Hezbollah, Hamas, or any other group to re-establish themselves near the borders of the occupied territories.

The representative also called for the creation of a demilitarized zone extending from Damascus to the existing buffer zone.

In recent months, Israel has repeatedly made claims about security threats emanating from Syrian territory, attempting to justify its military presence and aggression in border regions.

Tel Aviv, by repeatedly violating Syria’s sovereignty and conducting continuous airstrikes, has effectively become a primary factor in the destabilization of southern Syria.

Experts believe that raising the issue of a “demilitarized zone” and the alleged support for the Druze are part of Israel’s scenario to expand its security influence near Damascus.
