Trump Claims Time is Ripe to End Ukraine War

Donald Trump, the President of the United States, has asserted that the time to end the war in Ukraine has arrived, criticizing the slow pace of negotiations to resolve the crisis. He also mentioned a possible meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Florida.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, President Donald Trump has urged Ukraine to quickly pursue a peaceful resolution to the ongoing crisis, stating that the involved parties are closer than ever to reaching an agreement.

Trump expressed optimism about achieving a swift solution, emphasizing that a suitable opportunity exists to end the Ukraine war in the short term. However, he warned that hesitation from Kyiv could squander this chance.

Trump also revealed the possibility of meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, noting Netanyahu’s desire to meet with him, likely in Florida. “I would be happy to welcome Netanyahu; he is my friend and I would happily host him. I have not arranged a meeting with Netanyahu, but he is keen to meet with me,” Trump stated.

Since returning to the White House, the Trump administration has declared ending the war in Ukraine as a foreign policy priority, frequently criticizing the previous administration’s approach to the crisis.

In recent months, Washington has intensified efforts to activate diplomatic channels with the involved parties. However, Trump has directly criticized Kyiv for the slow progress of negotiations.
