Report: 61 Israeli Soldiers Committed Suicide Since Start of Gaza War

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a report in the Israeli newspaper Haaretz reveals that 61 soldiers in the Israeli army have taken their own lives since the onset of the Gaza war. Recent reports in Israeli media have highlighted the escalation of severe psychological crises among Israeli military personnel.
Experts attribute these crises to factors such as the extended duration of the Gaza conflict, exposure to intense battlefield scenes, direct involvement in civilian casualties, and the perceived failure to achieve Tel Aviv’s stated objectives. Many soldiers reportedly suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder, emotional breakdowns, guilt, intense command pressures, and a growing distrust of official military narratives.
These issues, compounded by news censorship and a lack of effective psychological support, have contributed to the rise in suicide cases within the ranks of the Israeli army.
