Egyptian PM Condemns Israeli Attacks on Lebanon During Beirut Visit

Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly voiced strong opposition to Israeli attacks on Lebanon during an official visit to Beirut on Friday. Madbouly affirmed Egypt’s commitment to supporting Lebanon’s stability and territorial integrity.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly has reiterated Egypt’s opposition to Israeli attacks on Lebanon, emphasizing that Egypt views Lebanon as a fundamental pillar of stability.

During a joint press conference with Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam in Beirut, Madbouly underscored Cairo’s unwavering commitment to exert every possible effort to support Lebanon against any tensions threatening its security and stability.

Madbouly stated Egypt’s complete rejection of repeated Israeli aggressions against Lebanon and the continued occupation of parts of southern Lebanon.

The Egyptian Prime Minister stressed the necessity of an immediate and unconditional Israeli withdrawal from all occupied Lebanese territories.

He highlighted the importance of full and non-selective adherence to Security Council resolutions, particularly Resolution 1701, to ensure respect for Lebanon’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Madbouly reaffirmed Egypt’s full support for Lebanon’s stability, national unity, and legal institutions as a foundation for a secure and prosperous future for the Lebanese people.

The Prime Minister arrived in Beirut on Friday for an official visit and immediately met with his Lebanese counterpart, Nawaf Salam, to discuss various issues, particularly regional matters and ways to strengthen cooperation.

A meeting between the delegations of both countries, led by the prime ministers, is scheduled to address bilateral cooperation and regional developments.

Madbouly is also slated to meet with Lebanese President Joseph Aoun and Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri.

Furthermore, he will meet with Mohammad Shaker, head of the Lebanese economic committees and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, to explore economic and trade cooperation between the two nations.
