Trump Refuses to Rule Out Military Action Against Venezuela

President Donald Trump declined to dismiss the possibility of war with Venezuela in a recent interview, intensifying pressure on Nicolás Maduro’s government. Trump’s remarks come amid escalating tensions and recent economic measures targeting Venezuela.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, President Donald Trump did not rule out military intervention in Venezuela during a Friday interview with NBC. When questioned about his ultimate goals for Caracas, Trump refrained from providing specific details.

In the telephone interview, President Trump told NBC News that Maduro “knows exactly what I want. He knows it better than anybody.” Trump’s comments have further heightened concerns about potential U.S. action against Venezuela.

When a reporter asked whether the United States would initiate a full-scale war against Venezuela, President Trump responded, “I’m not going to rule it out, no.” This statement follows increased pressure from the U.S. on Venezuela in recent days.

Earlier in the week, Trump announced a blockade of Venezuela and indicated plans to designate the Maduro administration as a foreign terrorist organization.
