Netanyahu’s Office Issues Statement on Al-Naqoura Meeting
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the statement from Benjamin Netanyahu‘s office detailed the occurrence of an international mechanism meeting in Al-Naqoura, supervised by the United States, between Israel and Lebanon.
The Netanyahu office further stated that the Deputy Head of the Internal Security Council represented Tel Aviv at the Al-Naqoura meeting, where disarmament was a key topic of discussion.
According to Netanyahu’s office, the meeting included discussions on strengthening economic projects designed to highlight mutual benefits in eliminating the threat posed by Hezbollah.
The US Embassy in Lebanon previously indicated that the meeting focused on a supervisory mechanism to enhance military cooperation between Tel Aviv and Lebanon.
