Miami Meeting on Gaza Held with Participation of Turkey, US, Qatar, and Egypt

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Turkish Foreign Ministry announced in a statement on Saturday that representatives from Turkey, the US, Qatar, and Egypt held a meeting in Miami to discuss the situation in Gaza. The meeting addressed the implementation of the first phase of the so-called Gaza peace plan and the transition to the second phase.
The statement noted that the ceasefire in Gaza remains in effect despite violations, with hostilities largely halted. Discussions also covered arrangements for the second phase, ensuring Gaza’s administration by its people, and steps to establish a peace council and an international stabilization force.
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan reportedly held consultations with US officials on the sidelines of the Miami meeting as part of efforts to end the war between Russia and Ukraine.
