According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, three U.S. officials confirmed to Reuters on Saturday that American authorities are seizing a sanctioned ship near Venezuela in international waters. The officials, who spoke on condition of anonymity, did not disclose the exact location of the operation but stated that the U.S. Coast Guard is leading the effort. In a separate report, Reuters cited American officials as saying, ‘We attempted to intercept and seize a vessel under U.S. sanctions off the Venezuelan coast.’
