Turkey Accuses Israel of Complicating Gaza Ceasefire Transition

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has accused Israel of complicating the transition to the second phase of the Gaza ceasefire through its violations. Speaking after discussions in Miami, Fidan emphasized that Gaza should be governed by its residents, opposing any division of the region and advocating for investments benefiting its people.
Fidan also noted that promising understandings were reached in Miami, with discussions focusing on preventing risks to the peace plan. The talks included the necessity of establishing a timeline for transferring Gaza’s administration to a technocratic committee.
Meanwhile, a senior U.S. official told Al Jazeera that a new round of negotiations on Gaza would be held in Miami, with parallel discussions on Ukraine also taking place.
