U.S. Intelligence Chief Claims Russia Seeks to Avoid Full-Scale War
Tulsi Gabbard, Director of U.S. National Intelligence, stated that Russia is actively avoiding a broader conflict with NATO, despite its advances in Ukraine, while alleging that pro-war factions are undermining President Trump’s peace efforts.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Tulsi Gabbard, the Director of the U.S. National Intelligence, asserted that intelligence assessments indicate Russia is seeking to prevent a full-scale war with NATO. Her remarks come amid reports of Russian military advances in Ukraine.
Gabbard further claimed that current intelligence estimates suggest Russia lacks the capability to fully invade and occupy Ukraine, raising doubts about its capacity to launch an offensive against Europe. She also accused pro-war elements within the so-called ‘deep state’ of attempting to undermine President Donald Trump’s initiatives to establish peace in Ukraine and across Europe.
