Iraqi MP: Popular Mobilization Forces Key to National Security Against Terrorist Threats
An Iraqi parliament member emphasized that the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) are the cornerstone of Iraq’s security, effectively countering terrorist threats and safeguarding the nation.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Iraqi MP Mukhtar al-Turkmani asserted that the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) serve as the guarantor of Iraq’s security against terrorist threats. He highlighted their national role and sacrifices in protecting the country.
Al-Turkmani noted that the PMF has proven itself as a national force over the years, successfully repelling dangerous terrorist attacks. He described their protection and support as a national duty, given their fundamental role in Iraq’s security system.
The MP also stated that attempts to tarnish the PMF’s reputation among the Iraqi people would fail, emphasizing their critical function in defending against both internal and external threats.
