Israeli Drone Strike in Southern Lebanon Kills One Amid Rising Tensions
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Lebanese sources reported a new Israeli drone strike in southern Lebanon, which resulted in one fatality. The attack targeted a vehicle in the town of Yater, as confirmed by Al-Mayadeen’s correspondent in the region.
The Lebanese media outlet stated that the strike led to the death of one individual. The Israeli military claimed it had targeted a Hezbollah operative in the Yater area.
The escalation of tensions and increased aerial attacks by Israel come as Lebanese officials have reportedly received warnings from Arab and international parties about Israel’s preparations for a large-scale military operation against Lebanon.
Meanwhile, Israeli media reported that the country’s military has finalized preparations for a broad offensive against Hezbollah positions.
