Next Round of Ukraine Peace Talks May Be Held in Moscow, Russian Official Suggests

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Kirill Dmitriev, the Russian President’s Special Representative and CEO of the Russian Direct Investment Fund, suggested that the next round of Russia-US talks on Ukraine may be held in Moscow. Dmitriev made the statement in a post on X, accompanied by a photo of himself wearing a T-shirt with the phrase ‘Next time in Moscow’ and the signature of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Earlier, on August 15, Putin had proposed during a meeting with US President Donald Trump in Alaska that the next talks be held in Moscow. Trump, in a joint press conference after the Alaska meeting, expressed eagerness to meet with the Russian president again soon.
The latest round of Ukraine peace talks took place in Miami on December 20-21.
