Controversy Erupts Over Suspicious Activities of US Ambassador to Jordan

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the new US Ambassador to Jordan, James Holzanaider, has stirred controversy due to his unconventional activities and striking appearance, which includes an unusually long beard. Jordanian MP Hussein Al-Amoush formally questioned Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi about the ambassador’s movements and whether they were coordinated with the Jordanian government. Al-Amoush demanded clarity on why the ambassador has been freely traveling across Jordan without apparent oversight.
Reports indicate that Holzanaider has actively participated in social and tribal events in Jordan over recent weeks. He visited the city of Ramtha to attend a funeral and engaged with the Bani Hassan tribe in Zarqa. Additionally, the ambassador has been present among the Abu Hazim tribes in Salt, Al-Khreisha in Al-Muwaqqar, and various regions of Ma’an and Petra.
Before his appointment to Jordan, Holzanaider served in the US Navy and held positions within American delegations in Iraq and Afghanistan.
