BRICS Nations Strengthen Strategic Ties and Showcase Economic and Scientific Advancements

Russian President Vladimir Putin highlights Russia as China’s largest European trade partner, while BRICS members announce breakthroughs in science, technology, and economic growth across multiple regions.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Russian President Vladimir Putin declared Russia as China’s top European trade partner, with bilateral trade reaching $250 billion. Speaking at a press conference in Gostiny Dvor, Putin emphasized the steady expansion of Moscow-Beijing relations across advanced industries, science, education, and space exploration.

In Africa, Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi elevated bilateral ties to a strategic partnership during talks in Addis Ababa. The leaders signed multiple agreements, including doubling scholarships for Ethiopian students.

Egypt’s space agency successfully launched the SPNeX satellite, a fully domestically developed spacecraft tasked with studying Earth’s ionosphere. Meanwhile, South Africa’s food service sector recorded an 8.4% year-on-year revenue growth in October 2025, signaling continued economic recovery.
