According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Russian-affiliated forces are making swift advances in Ukraine‘s northeastern Sumy region, leading to the reported retreat of 10,000 Ukrainian soldiers. The troops have reportedly fled toward shelters amid the offensive.
Local authorities are evacuating areas near Sumy to establish defensive lines using nearby villages. Meanwhile, Russian forces continue drone strikes against Ukrainian military positions.
Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops have advanced more than a kilometer from the Andriivka area toward the forested regions south of the village of Frachino.
