Israel’s Katz Vows No Retreat from Gaza, Plans New Military-Agricultural Bases

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Israeli War Minister Israel Katz has asserted that the regime will never retreat from Gaza. Speaking at an event in the Beit El settlement, Katz claimed Tel Aviv would not withdraw from the Gaza Strip and instead establish new military-agricultural bases in northern Gaza, replacing settlements evacuated during the 2005 disengagement.
Katz stated, “We will carry this out in the right way and at the appropriate time. While some may object, the decision-making power lies with us.” His remarks come amid heightened speculation about the Zionist regime’s long-term plans for Gaza following a potential ceasefire with Hamas.
The comments also serve as an indirect response to recent statements by U.S. President Donald Trump, who dismissed the possibility of the Zionist regime annexing the West Bank. Katz further claimed, “Thanks to Israel’s resilience and strength demonstrated after the horrific October 7 disaster, we now have opportunities we haven’t seen in a long time.”
During the same event, Bezalel Smotrich, the regime’s Finance Minister, boasted about the expansion of settlements in the West Bank in recent years.
