Turkish President Erdogan Accuses Israel of Violating Gaza Ceasefire Agreement

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan condemned Israel for failing to adhere to the Gaza ceasefire agreement and obstructing humanitarian aid, while also expressing condolences to Libya over a military plane crash.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Wednesday accused Israel of violating the Gaza ceasefire agreement and blocking humanitarian aid to the besieged enclave. Speaking at a public address, Erdogan extended his condolences to the Libyan nation and military following the death of Libya’s army chief of staff and others in a plane crash.

Erdogan stated that Turkey would release the findings of the investigation into the Libyan plane crash as soon as they are available. He emphasized Turkey’s unwavering support for Gaza, particularly during the harsh winter conditions, noting that the country had recently dispatched its 19th aid ship carrying 1,500 tons of supplies to the region.

The Turkish leader vowed not to abandon Gaza or oppressed communities anywhere, criticizing Israel for its continued violations of the ceasefire in effect since October 11. Despite the truce, residential areas destroyed by Israeli attacks in Gaza continue to face severe challenges, Erdogan added.
