Saudi Arabia Condemns UAE-Backed Forces’ Military Moves in Yemen’s Hadramout and Al-Mahra

Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Ministry stated that recent military actions in Hadramout and Al-Mahra were conducted without approval from the Presidential Leadership Council or coordination with the coalition, urging the UAE-backed Transitional Council to de-escalate tensions.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Saudi Arabia has issued a statement condemning unauthorized military movements in Yemen’s Hadramout and Al-Mahra provinces. The Foreign Ministry emphasized that the operations were carried out by UAE-backed Transitional Council forces without consent from the Saudi-led coalition or the internationally recognized Presidential Leadership Council.

The statement noted ongoing efforts to restore stability in the affected regions and called on the Transitional Council to withdraw its forces to ease tensions. Recent weeks have seen the UAE-aligned forces seize strategic areas in Hadramout and Al-Mahra, prompting Saudi troops to initiate counter-operations to reclaim control.
