Israeli Media Stirs Controversy Over Iran’s Missile Capabilities

A Zionist newspaper claims Iran’s missile threat is serious, with Netanyahu set to brief President Trump, as tensions escalate over Tehran’s defense advancements.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Zionist newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth, citing an Israeli official, has claimed that Iran‘s missile threat is significant, aligning with the regime’s policy of exaggerating Tehran’s defensive capabilities. The report states that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will present intelligence on the matter to U.S. President Donald Trump.

While Iran’s missile program has been used solely for defensive operations, the newspaper appears to be amplifying psychological pressure on Iranian public opinion. It suggests Tel Aviv may consider confronting Iran if Washington fails to curb Tehran’s missile development.

Previously, NBC News reported that Israeli officials believe Iran has not only rebuilt its missile defense infrastructure after recent attacks but is also advancing its ballistic missile program at an accelerated pace. This development has reportedly heightened concerns for Netanyahu and Tel Aviv’s security circles, serving as a new pretext for potential military action against Iran.

This media narrative unfolds as the U.S. played a direct and decisive role in military strikes against Iran. Attempts to portray the occupying Zionist regime as acting independently contradict on-the-ground realities, with Washington being the primary architect of the threat narrative.

Contrary to media focus on nuclear issues, U.S. and Israeli sources consider Iran’s rapid missile defense progress and mass-production potential a more immediate concern. From Tel Aviv’s perspective, Iran’s growing missile capabilities not only shift military equations but also strengthen Tehran’s deterrence, making aggressive scenarios costlier for the Zionist regime.
