Gaza’s Al-Awda Hospital Faces Total Power Outage as Israel Blocks Fuel Entry

Al-Awda Hospital in Gaza’s Nuseirat camp has completely lost power after Israel prevented the delivery of agreed-upon fuel supplies, forcing the suspension of all scheduled operations and leaving only emergency services functional.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Al-Awda Hospital in Gaza‘s Nuseirat camp experienced a total power outage on Thursday after exhausting its emergency generator fuel, with Israeli authorities blocking the entry of agreed-upon fuel supplies under the ceasefire agreement. A medical source told Anadolu Agency that the blackout has rendered most hospital departments inoperable, compelling administrators to cancel all scheduled surgeries across specialties. The facility can now maintain only critical services in emergency, admission, and maternity wards to preserve minimal life-saving capabilities. The source warned of dire consequences for patients requiring urgent surgeries or specialized care, describing the situation as increasingly perilous.
