Two Dead, Several Injured in Sweden Shooting Incident
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Swedish police confirmed a deadly incident in the northern town of Boden on Thursday. Officers responding to reports of a suspected attack at a residence shot and killed a man in his twenties and found the body of a 55-year-old woman inside the home. Two injured individuals were transported to the hospital.
Authorities stated they received alerts about an armed assault by the suspect against residents before police intervened. The shooting marks another violent episode in Sweden, following an April attack in Uppsala that left three dead and multiple wounded at a hair salon. Earlier in February, the country was shaken by a mass killing that claimed 11 lives, including the perpetrator.
