Trump Announces Plans to Engage Putin in Talks, Comments on Zelensky
U.S. President Donald Trump has revealed his intention to hold discussions with Russian President Vladimir Putin at an appropriate time, while also making pointed remarks about Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, U.S. President Donald Trump stated in an interview with Politico that he plans to engage in talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin soon and at a time he deems suitable. Trump also commented on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, asserting, ‘Zelensky has nothing unless I agree to it; so we’ll see what he has, and I think a meeting with him could be productive.’ Additionally, Trump reiterated his recent claims about favorable conditions emerging for a ceasefire in Ukraine, expressing optimism about progress with both Zelensky and Putin.
