Macron’s Approval Rating Hits Record Low at 25 Percent Amid Growing Public Distrust

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a recent poll in France reveals that public satisfaction with President Emmanuel Macron‘s performance has dropped to its lowest level since the start of his presidency, with only 25% of respondents expressing a positive view of him.
The survey, conducted jointly by the Toluna-Harris Interactive institute and television network LCI, involved 1,099 participants. Results indicate that just a quarter of respondents trust the French president.
Macron, who has held power since 2017, previously maintained approval ratings above 30% in recent months. However, the latest data shows his public support has reached an all-time low during his presidency.
His peak popularity was recorded during the COVID-19 pandemic, when his approval surpassed 50%. In contrast, far-right National Rally leader Jordan Bardella now leads as France’s most popular politician with 42% approval, followed by Marine Le Pen at 39% and Justice Minister Gérald Darmanin at 38%.
