Russian Official Accuses Zelensky of Stalling to Block Ukraine Peace Deal
Valentina Matviyenko, head of Russia’s Federation Council, claims Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is deliberately delaying peace negotiations while being influenced by European war hawks.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Valentina Matviyenko, Chairwoman of Russia‘s Federation Council, accused Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky of intentionally prolonging negotiations to prevent any potential peace agreement regarding Ukraine. Speaking on Sunday, Matviyenko stated that Zelensky is unprepared for presidential candidacy and is engaging in deliberate time-wasting tactics.
Matviyenko further alleged that Zelensky is being encouraged by European war hawks to pursue this obstructionist approach. The Russian official emphasized that the Ukrainian leader appears determined to see this strategy through, effectively blocking progress toward a diplomatic resolution.
