President Trump Holds Constructive Talks with Putin Ahead of Zelensky Meeting
U.S. President Donald Trump announced a productive phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin before his scheduled meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at Mar-a-Lago.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, U.S. President Donald Trump revealed on Sunday that he held a “good and very constructive” phone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin. The discussion took place ahead of Trump’s planned meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at 1 p.m. at his Mar-a-Lago estate.
Trump shared details of the call on his social media platform, Truth Social, stating that the talks were productive. He also confirmed that his upcoming discussion with Zelensky would be held in the main dining room of Mar-a-Lago.
This development comes amid reports that several European leaders are also expected to hold telephone consultations with Trump regarding the ongoing situation in Ukraine.
