Mass Protests in Mogadishu Condemn Israeli Regime’s Actions, Reaffirm Somalia’s Unity

Thousands demonstrated in Mogadishu against the Israeli regime’s recent move, denouncing it as interference in Somalia’s sovereignty and a threat to regional stability in the Horn of Africa and the Red Sea.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, mass protests erupted in Mogadishu as demonstrators condemned the Israeli regime’s actions, which they described as blatant interference in Somalia‘s internal affairs. Protesters emphasized that Somalia remains a unified and indivisible nation, rejecting any attempts to impose political changes through unlawful recognitions.

Participants in the rally asserted that the Israeli regime’s move aligns with foreign agendas aimed at destabilizing security and peace in the Horn of Africa and the Red Sea. They called on Somalia’s federal government to take a firm stance against the action and prevent any efforts to partition Somali territory through political, diplomatic, and legal channels.

The demonstrators also urged the international community and regional organizations to respect Somalia’s sovereignty and reject unilateral recognitions that violate international laws and resolutions. Somali media reported that the protests reflect widespread public consensus against separatist schemes, with the public viewing any Israeli presence or influence in the country as a direct threat to national and regional security.

These developments come as regional opposition to any violation of Somalia’s unity grows, with experts warning of the dangerous consequences of the Israeli regime’s actions in the Horn of Africa. Such consequences could destabilize the region and impact international maritime security in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden.
