Syrian Protesters Moved to Secret Detention Centers by Jolani Regime

Security sources report that the Jolani regime has transferred numerous Syrian protesters to hidden detention facilities in rural areas, amid ongoing crackdowns on peaceful demonstrations.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, security sources have revealed that elements linked to the Jolani regime have relocated a large number of Syrian protesters to secret detention centers in the villages of Al-Naimah, Al-Murqab, and Al-Sarij in the outskirts of Baniyas. The sources stated that these actions are part of a broader effort to suppress peaceful protests in Syria and quash any opposition to the regime.

The source emphasized that leaked information about these detention facilities remains limited. Meanwhile, local reports from yesterday indicated that Jolani forces opened fire on protesters in Al-Azhari Square in the city of Latakia. Several civilians were also injured after regime forces attacked demonstrators in Wadi Al-Dhahab and Al-Zahra in Homs.

In addition to using firearms, Jolani forces reportedly assaulted protesters with melee weapons in some areas. Local Syrian sources further confirmed that dozens of demonstrators were wounded during clashes and shootings in Al-Azhari Square in Latakia.
