Hezbollah Official Stresses Futility of Diplomacy Without Power in Lebanon

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Ali Fayyad, a senior member of Lebanon’s Loyalty to the Resistance parliamentary bloc, declared that any diplomatic or political efforts to secure national rights are futile unless backed by power, stability, and resilience. He emphasized that the Lebanese government must maintain minimal equilibrium to safeguard sovereignty and national interests, warning against alternatives that would lead to surrender and catastrophic outcomes.
Fayyad condemned the enemy’s criminal actions, which he said violate international agreements and laws, further legitimizing the resistance as Lebanon’s natural right to self-defense. He criticized proposals for transitioning to “Phase Two” concerning the Litani River’s northern region, noting that Israel continues to occupy parts of southern Lebanon, obstructing army deployment and carrying out attacks.
Fayyad called for strengthened national unity to counter occupation and achieve Israel’s complete withdrawal, warning that internal division only benefits the enemy.
