First Images Released of Abu Obeida, Spokesman for Al-Qassam Brigades
The new spokesman for Al-Qassam Brigades unveiled the first images of the late Abu Obeida, confirming his martyrdom in a recent statement.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the new spokesman for the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, has released the first images of Abu Obeida, previously known only by his nom de guerre. The images, accompanied by his real name—Hudhayfah Samir Abdullah Al-Kahlout, also known as Abu Ibrahim—were disclosed during the spokesman’s inaugural address.
Abu Obeida, a long-time symbol of Palestinian resistance, was recognized for his signature keffiyeh during public speeches and press statements, earning him the moniker of the ‘masked mujahid and commander.’ His identity had remained concealed for years until the Al-Qassam Brigades confirmed his martyrdom shortly before the images were released.
