Russia Accuses Ukraine of Drone Attack on Putin’s Residence, Cites British Influence

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Russia has accused Ukraine of launching a drone attack on President Vladimir Putin’s residence in Novgorod, alleging it as a deliberate attempt to undermine ongoing negotiations. Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko stated on Monday that Kyiv resorts to provocative actions whenever talks reach a critical stage, with Western supporters, particularly the British, influencing these maneuvers.
Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov confirmed the overnight attack, revealing that Ukraine deployed 91 drones, all of which were intercepted. Lavrov emphasized that despite the provocation, Russia remains committed to the negotiation process. The Kremlin condemned the incident as a serious escalation but ruled out withdrawing from diplomatic efforts in response.
