Trump Expresses Willingness to Negotiate with Iran While Issuing Threats and Praising Syrian Leader

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, U.S. President Donald Trump, during a joint press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, expressed openness to dialogue with Iran while maintaining a threatening stance on its nuclear program. Trump warned that if Iran were to rebuild its nuclear program, the U.S. would have “no choice but to attack again.”
Trump also praised Syria’s self-proclaimed president, Bashar al-Assad, calling him a “strong leader” and stating that Syria currently needs him. He further emphasized efforts to mediate between Netanyahu and Assad, claiming that progress was being made.
The U.S. president issued a short deadline for Hamas to disarm, threatening severe consequences if the group failed to comply. He also commented on Lebanon’s internal affairs, expressing expectations for the disarmament of Hezbollah.
Trump acknowledged disagreements between Washington and Tel Aviv regarding settler violence in the West Bank but reaffirmed strong U.S. support for Israel. Netanyahu, in turn, awarded Trump a symbolic “Israel Peace Prize” and praised him as the regime’s greatest ally.
