Russian FSB Thwarts Terrorist Attack Targeting School in Adygea Republic
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) has successfully prevented a terrorist attack targeting students at a school in the Adygea Republic. A suspect, identified as a citizen of a Central Asian country and a supporter of a banned international terrorist organization, was detained during the operation.
Authorities seized 10 Molotov cocktails, bladed weapons (two tactical knives), and a flag associated with a terrorist group from the suspect’s vehicle, which was parked near the school. The FSB’s investigation revealed that the suspect’s activities were coordinated from abroad via the Telegram messaging app.
The Adygea Republic branch of the FSB’s investigative department has initiated a criminal case under Article 30, Part 3, and Article 205, Part 2 of the Russian Criminal Code, which pertain to attempted terrorist acts.
