UK, Canada, Japan, and European Nations Issue Joint Statement on Gaza Crisis

A coalition including the UK, Canada, Japan, and European countries expressed deep concern over Gaza’s humanitarian catastrophe but stopped short of condemning Israeli actions, highlighting urgent needs for 1.3 million civilians lacking water and 740,000 exposed to toxic flood risks.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a joint statement issued Tuesday by the UK, Canada, Japan, and European nations described Gaza’s civilians as living in emergency conditions, with 1.3 million people urgently requiring water access. The declaration emphasized grave deterioration of humanitarian conditions, noting the total collapse of sewage infrastructure has placed 740,000 residents at risk of exposure to toxic floods.

The coalition called for the swift return of the last Israeli captive’s remains in Gaza while urging Israel to guarantee sustained access for international NGOs. Though expressing profound concern about the ongoing crisis, the statement did not explicitly condemn the actions of Israeli occupation forces against Palestinian civilians.
