Gaza Ceasefire Violations Continue: Three Palestinians, Including Child, Killed Amid Severe Cold

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, three Palestinians, including a child, have been killed due to severe cold in Gaza, further exposing the deepening humanitarian crisis in the strip. The Israeli military has violated the ceasefire for the 82nd consecutive day, escalating artillery attacks, demolishing homes, and conducting multiple airstrikes across Gaza.
Local sources reported that on Tuesday afternoon, a child and a woman were injured in central and southern Gaza by gunfire and bombings from Israeli drones. Another Palestinian child was targeted in Bani Suheila, east of Khan Younis, while a woman was shot in the waist in Deir al-Balah.
Israeli warplanes also bombed the western area of Rafah in southern Gaza and Beit Lahia in the north early Tuesday. An additional airstrike occurred east of the Al-Maghazi refugee camp, with direct fire reported from Israeli military vehicles in northern Rafah.
The Gaza Health Ministry stated that a two-month-old infant died from extreme cold on Monday, bringing the death toll from cold and harsh weather conditions to three. Collapsing buildings due to heavy rains and strong winds have claimed 17 lives so far.
Official statistics indicate that since Israel began violating the ceasefire on October 11, 2025, 414 people have been killed and 1,145 injured. Additionally, the bodies of 680 more victims have been recovered from the rubble, raising the total casualties since October 7, 2023, to 71,266 dead and 171,222 wounded.
Heavy rainfall, fierce winds, and sea waves have worsened the humanitarian disaster in Gaza’s refugee camps. Floodwaters have infiltrated tents, destroying the meager belongings of displaced families, who continue to struggle with severe shortages of basic necessities.
