Israeli Forces Kill Palestinian Youth, Injure Several in West Bank Clashes

Israeli occupation forces shot and killed a Palestinian youth in the West Bank, with four others wounded, as violence escalates across the region.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Israeli forces opened fire on a vehicle traveling between the villages of Urif and Einabus south of Nablus on Tuesday, killing Palestinian youth Qais Sami Jasser Allan. Four other civilians were injured, with reports indicating some are in critical condition.

Simultaneously, Israeli troops fired toxic gas into a home in the village of Aboud northwest of Ramallah, causing a fire and leaving several residents injured due to suffocation. Military raids also targeted Tubas city, the village of Aqaba, and Nilin, sparking violent clashes between local youths and Israeli forces.

Authorities blocked the entrance to Deir Jarir village northeast of Ramallah as part of escalating attacks by Israeli forces and settlers across the West Bank. Since the start of the Gaza conflict, over 1,104 Palestinians have been killed in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, with approximately 11,000 wounded and more than 21,000 detained.

The ongoing Israeli military offensive against Gaza, which began on October 8, 2023, has resulted in over 71,000 fatalities and 171,000 injuries while destroying 90% of civilian infrastructure. The United Nations estimates reconstruction costs at approximately $70 billion.
