Sudan Accuses UAE of Supporting Terrorism in Yemen

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Sudan‘s Foreign Ministry issued a statement sharply criticizing the United Arab Emirates for its support of separatist groups in southern Yemen, describing the move as an endorsement of terrorism. The ministry also voiced its backing for Saudi Arabia’s initiatives in Yemen, emphasizing the importance of preserving the nation’s territorial integrity.
Sudan called on all parties involved in the Yemen conflict to exercise restraint and resolve their differences through constructive dialogue. The Sudanese government had previously accused the UAE of exacerbating internal instability in Sudan, alleging that the Emirates sought to exploit the country’s natural resources and private sector investments to bolster its regional and international influence.
Additionally, Sudan reiterated claims that the UAE provides support to the Rapid Support Forces rebels within its borders.
