Iranian Embassy in Baghdad Honors Martyred Commanders on Sixth Anniversary
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Baghdad held a commemoration ceremony on Wednesday to honor the sixth anniversary of the martyrdom of prominent military commanders. The event saw the participation of high-ranking officials, diplomats, and tribal leaders from both Iraq and Iran.
Among the attendees were Mohammad Kazem Al-Sadegh, Iran’s Ambassador to Baghdad, Falih Al-Fayyadh, Head of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF), and several religious figures and tribal leaders. Key speakers at the ceremony highlighted the pivotal role of the martyred commanders, particularly Haj Qasem Soleimani, in combating global extremism and ensuring regional stability.
