Venezuela and Sudan Foreign Ministers Discuss Bilateral Relations in Phone Call

The foreign ministers of Venezuela and Sudan held a phone conversation to discuss bilateral relations and mutual concerns, emphasizing opposition to violations of international law.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Venezuelan Foreign Minister Yvan Gil and his Sudanese counterpart, Ali Al-Sadiq, engaged in a phone conversation to discuss bilateral relations and issues of mutual interest. The dialogue focused on strengthening ties between the two nations and addressing key regional and international matters.

Sources from Venezuela reported that Minister Gil reiterated his country’s firm stance against violations of international law and the importance of respecting the sovereignty of all nations. He also expressed hope for stability and peace in Sudan, emphasizing the need for a prosperous future for the Sudanese people.

The phone conversation took place amid escalating threats from the United States against Venezuela and ongoing internal conflict in Sudan between the national army and the Rapid Support Forces.
